Let’s make candied pecans! You can doooooiiiit. ⁣⁣⁣

These are so easy and much healthier – you’ll never buy them again! ⁣⁣⁣

Ingredients:

  • 24 – 27 oz pecans (1 Costco size bag) ⁣⁣⁣
  • 1 egg white (35g) ⁣⁣⁣
  • 3/4 c coconut sugar⁣⁣⁣
  • 1/4 c granulated sugar⁣⁣⁣
  • 1 T cinnamon⁣⁣⁣
  • 1/2 tsp salt⁣⁣⁣
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne⁣⁣⁣ (optional)
    ⁣⁣⁣

Steps:

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a gallon ziploc. ⁣⁣⁣
  2. Whisk egg white in a (very) large bowl until frothy. ⁣
  3. Add pecans to bowl and mix quickly to coat until no egg white coats the bowl⁣⁣⁣.
  4. Fill ziploc with pecans and shake! ⁣⁣⁣
  5. Spread a single layer over 2 baking sheets with parchment.
  6. Convection 300°F (Conventional 325°F) 20-25 min, flip for the last few minutes⁣⁣⁣.

    Allow to cool and enjoy!
