Let’s make candied pecans! You can doooooiiiit.
These are so easy and much healthier – you’ll never buy them again!
Ingredients:
- 24 – 27 oz pecans (1 Costco size bag)
- 1 egg white (35g)
- 3/4 c coconut sugar
- 1/4 c granulated sugar
- 1 T cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne (optional)
Steps:
- Mix dry ingredients in a gallon ziploc.
- Whisk egg white in a (very) large bowl until frothy.
- Add pecans to bowl and mix quickly to coat until no egg white coats the bowl.
- Fill ziploc with pecans and shake!
- Spread a single layer over 2 baking sheets with parchment.
- Convection 300°F (Conventional 325°F) 20-25 min, flip for the last few minutes.
Allow to cool and enjoy!
